Hi all, I hope you're enjoying your weekend!  Flares and a cropped jacket have been my favorites this spring and of course a good hat (on sale at Nordstrom, right now!).  I know this area quite well, not only is it where my 9 to 5 is located but there's a great selection of shopping (Bloomingdale's is just around the corner).  I love the block I walk down every morning, the sun is the brightest and the townhouses are so charming.  This is the perfect area to stop while visiting the city.  Within a couple of blocks you can ride the tram over to Roosevelt Island and see the beautiful city skyline, grab lunch and a frozen hot chocolate at Serendipity (my first job in NYC), shop at the most famous Bloomingdale’s (don’t forget a cupcake at Magnolia Bakery), get a bag full of crazy candies at Dylan’s Candy Bar where even the floors are made of candy (aka my heaven).  Once you have had all these goodies, take a walk over to Central Park for a beautiful stroll or bike tour.  Doesn’t sound like a bad afternoon to me!
