It's time to "Prepare for Battle!" WarPaint International is now offering services here in New York City. I had the pleasure of having my hair and makeup done by the wonderful Alex and Maggie. WarPaint is on demand makeup and hair and their last minute booking makes it easy for us on the go women to have that flawless look wherever you are. Whether it's a night out with the girls or a special event, WarPaint is your go to glam team! They will be having a launch party February 12th 7-10pm at Verboten in Brooklyn with a makeup and hair touch up bar, giveaways, dancing, drinks.....let's be real, I had you at party! I will be there dancing the night away with Jessica and her crew!

~When and how did you get started with WarPaint? "WarPaint International was founded in 2010 by my myself and my husband. Previous to then, I had worked at various salons and makeup counters for several years, exploring the freelance world on the side as most artists in the beauty industry do. After a long period of training and certifications, I realized there was a greater need at the consumer level for the luxury service that I was providing. At that point, I decided to stop offering "makeup by Jessica Mae" and thus WarPaint International Beauty Agency was born. Over the past 5 years WarPaint International has positioned itself as a luxury, on-location beauty agency and has been recognized as one of the top beauty agencies in the country by brides, socialites, photographers & models."

~Who/What is your biggest inspiration? "There are several people I look up to and draw inspiration from, many of them being women entrepreneurs. The two that I look up to the most are Ivanka Trump & Kat Von D."

~What are the 2 things you would like people in NYC to know about WarPaint and what sets you apart from other glam teams? "Two things I’d like NYC to know about WarPaint….one thing would be that all of our artisans have been hand picked by either myself or our artistic team. The quality of their work has been verified and they are all back ground checked. Another thing for NYC to know is that booking your appointment is simple & easy and can be done online via our website or facebook fan page. Our online system will soon be replaced by a mobile app—more info to come on that later this year. The main thing that sets us a part from other glam teams is our Signature Card membership. Clients can subscribe on a monthly or annual basis receiving 2 on-location makeup or hair services per month at preferred pricing.
