I have been traveling back home a lot lately.  I am so happy it was at such a beautiful time to visit, even though it is sad to be putting sandals away for the winter; fall truly is the most beautiful time in Minnesota (everywhere really!) My mother and I decided to take a walk near the lake, and I couldn’t stop saying to myself, “I can’t believe I grew up here.”  It is amazing the way you look at things when it is no longer your “norm”. 
Boots, leggings and an oversized sweater are staples for a fall/winter outfit.  Some may say over played, but let's be real!  When the temperature goes from 70 to 35 over night, comfort and warmth is all you really care about!  This sweater is from a quaint little store in Red Wing, MN called Whimsy's Closet.  If you are ever in the area, you must stop in. You never know what treasures you'll find!
